The psidium guajava or Guava tree is a tropical tree native to the rainforests of America, which can be kept both in the garden and in pots. Evergreen, it can reach up to 5-10 metres.

We selected this 1 metre tall Mango tree at a nursery called 'Vivercid' in the region of Valencia in the Mediterranea.
color plant: its leaves are bright green and oval and its flowers are white with 5 petals and many stamens. Its fruit, the guava, is rounded and open, measures between 3-10 cm and is yellow, pink or red depending on the species. The pulp is orange, creamy and has many hard seeds.

care tips
The soil should be well-drained and nutritious and preferably a little acidic. Pruning increases the fruit yield and the plant also looks neater. It is best to prune the plant in the period between November and February, but not during severe frost. Prune superfluous side and main branches. This Guajava tree variety is not winter hard.
