The Kentia palm is a resistant and very elegant palm tree. Its leaves are pinnate with horizontal and arched leaflets, long and fine of a dark green color. When a new leaf sprouts, the older one usually dries out. In addition, you will need to place the palm in a spacious spot, because it is a plant that takes quite a lot of space. The flowers are grouped in inter-foliate inflorescences and are very branched. This Kentia is 150 centimetres tall.

care tips
It is resistant to poor lighting in homes. Although if you have more, the better, you'll be stronger. The optimum temperature is between 20ºC and 25ºC. You can clean the Kentia leaves with a wet cloth and polish them a little bit once a month to clean the dust.
watering
In summer water twice a week and once or twice a month in winter. Spray the leaves with water; especially in summer and also if you are in a room with heating. The dryness of the air spoils them.
soil
use a universal substrate or a specific substrate for green plants. Fertilizer: pour some liquid fertilizer dissolved in the watering can every 10 days, from March to October.
pruning
Remove those leaves that turned brown. They tend to be the lower ones, which are the oldest. This will help your palm to grow better and it will look better too.
