This is a stunning tropical plant that belongs to the Araceae family. This plant is native to the rainforests of Brazil, where it grows as an epiphyte, climbing on trees and absorbing nutrients from the air and rainwater.

Originally this plant family comes from the rainforests of America and the Caribbean. The one in our webshop is from a Dutch nursery specialised in tropical plants and is adapted to our environment to be used as a houseplant.

This Philodendron ring of fire is a very hardy houseplant and also very easy to care for. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. A north or east-facing window is perfect. This plant only needs one watering per week. Make sure there is no water left under the pot.
We advise you to let it find a way to hang on the wall or ceiling around or above the pot, you can also choose to support the plant with a support pole while it is growing. Fall in love with the grey Philodendron!
