We selected this Fig tree at a nursery called 'Vivercid' in the region of Valencia in the Mediterranea. As the fig tree is a deciduous fruit tree, it will be served without leaves when low temperatures arrive. It is pruned from November to February.

The soil should be well-drained and nutritious and preferably not too acidic, but rather calcareous. Pruning increases the fruit yield and the plant also looks neater.
