euphorbia ingens marmorata
Euphorbia ingens marmorata, commonly known as Candelabra tree or the African milk barrel, is a striking succulent native to South Africa. This plant features tall, columnar stems adorned with unique marbled patterns of green and white, giving it an eye-catching appearance that enhances any indoor or outdoor space. Its architectural shape and vibrant colors make it a popular choice for modern gardens and decorative displays, adding an element of intrigue and sophistication.
reproduction
If you want to propagate the euphorbia, you have to cut off its side shoots in spring with a sharp knife. Do this with gloves because the milk is poisonous! Then let the milk flow from the shoot and wash it off with streaming water. Then you can put the shoot with the open side in dry soil. After about a month give it a little bit of water and repeat this once a month during the first year.

care tips
Euphorbia ingens marmorata thrives in bright, indirect sunlight, so it's best to place it near a window with filtered light or outside in the sun. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as this succulent is sensitive to overwatering and prefers well-draining soil to prevent root rot. During the growing season, you can feed it with a diluted, balanced fertilizer every few weeks to promote healthy growth and vibrant coloration.
