care tips
As a tropical plant, aphelandras prefers warm, moist air and places without draughts. It requires a well-lit position, but not in direct sunlight and a temperature of 18-23 ℃. The substrate should be well drained. The plant should also be sprayed frequently. After flowering the Afelandara goes through a period of dormancy. Then move it to a cooler but bright room for about 6 weeks and limit watering.
