care tips
This houseplant doesn't tolerate direct sunlight for a long time. However, the palm does like a lot of filtered light. For this reason, the palm is best placed in front of a north- or east-facing window.
The Areca palm doesn't like to grow with strongly fluctuating temperatures. Give the palm lukewarm water during spring and summer, preferably 2 to 3 times a week and once a week during winter, but then with lukewarm cold water. If the soil dries out completely or you leave it always too wet, the plant will lose its leaves.
health
The areca is one of the most commonly purchased air-purifying plants. This is because this plant is good at removing harmful substances. These substances occur in almost every home and office. That is why the areca palm is an asset.
