The affordable Christmas tree for a stylish Christmas

We have gone out to spot the Christmas trend of 2020 for you and this year we have selected the araucaria as one of the Christmas trends for the winter of 2020.

This year we value nature and our earth more than ever before, that's why the araucaria/rooms is our sustainable alternative to a Christmas tree.

During Christmas you can decorate these rooms as a beautiful Christmas tree and after Christmas you can continue to use them as a trendy houseplant.

Luckily you don't have to put this beautiful sturdy tree with Scandinavian look after Christmas with the old dirt!

The araucaria is a slow growing plant but can occur in the wild and reach a height of 50 meters!

In the 18th century James Cook discovered this tree during one of his expeditions in the Pacific on Norfolk Island and took it with him to mainland Europe.

If you want to see an old Araucaria, you can find it in Madrid in the Retiro park, in Barcelona in the Parc de Cervantes and in jardin de turia in Valencia.

This tree is a good and affordable alternative to a Christmas tree, other advantages of this tree are that it loses few needles and is easy to care for.

Place this tree in a light or shady spot and water once a week. The araucaria grows best at a temperature of minimum 15°C and maximum 25°C.
