care tips eco system in a jar
To ensure the plants in your terrarium thrive, they need sunlight to undergo photosynthesis. Place the jar in a room with indirect sunlight, such as north or west-facing windows, to avoid strong sunlight.
Temperature fluctuations can harm the terrarium's ecosystem, so it's best to keep it away from areas with frequent temperature changes, like the kitchen, bathroom, and near radiators.
When planting your terrarium, water the plants immediately after planting by gently spraying the inside of the container or using a long pipette to apply water directly to the soil. Water sparingly, as the water will not drain out of the container but will instead condense on the walls. Use only soft water, such as filtered or boiled and cooled water, to avoid harming the plants.
The ideal watering frequency for your terrarium depends on the type of plants and humidity level inside the container. Water when the soil is dry and there is no evaporation visible inside the jar. This should be done up to three times a year, taking into account the specific needs of your plants.
