care tips
This houseplant does not tolerate direct sunlight for long periods of time. However, the palm likes filtered light. For this reason, the areca is preferably placed in front of a north- or east-facing window or several metres away from south- and west-facing windows to keep the sun's rays out.
The Areca doesn't like to grow in rooms with very fluctuating temperatures. Water it with lukewarm water during spring and summer, preferably 2-3 times a week, and once a week during winter, but then with lukewarm and cold water. If the soil dries out completely or is always left too wet, the plant will lose its leaves.
health
The areca is one of the most commonly purchased air-purifying plants. This is because this plant is good at removing harmful substances. These substances occur in almost every home and office. That is why the areca palm is an asset.
