euphorbia ingens
Actually, the euphorbia ingens is not a cactus, but a succulent plant, because this plant gives spurge when it is damaged, a real cactus doesn't do that.
Originally the Euphorbia ingens can be found in the deserts of Africa and South America.
The euphorbia is also called the candelabra tree or sometimes the cowboy plant. You must have seen this plant when you were watching a western movie. Now you can have it too at home for a fantastic price!
reproduction
If you want to propagate the euphorbia, you have to cut off its side shoots in spring with a sharp knife. Do this with gloves because the milk is poisonous! Then let the milk flow from the shoot and wash it off with streaming water. Then you can put the shoot with the open side in dry soil. After about a month give it a little bit of water and repeat this once a month during the first year.
