The Ficus Benghalensis Audrey is commonly called India rubber plant or India rubber tree. The plant is native from the Himalayas to Malaysia, Sumatra and even Java. It is a broadleaf evergreen shrub or tree that may grow to 50-100' tall in its native habitat. We found this fig of 80 centimeters tall in a Dutch nursery specialized in figs and we bring it to you in Spain to create a nice atmosphere at home.

This plant is almost one metre high and comes from the 'De Schenkel' nurseries in the Netherlands. The pattern of the veins in the leaves make it a super interesting houseplant.

care tips
Do not water this plant too often. As soon as the soil starts to dry out again, give it more water. The ficus lyrata likes a sunny spot with filtered light. If there is a lack of sunlight, the leaves will grow with long stems. Repotting is recommended every 2 to 3 years.
