care tips

When grown outdoors, Heliconia Hawaii prefers to be in areas where the temperature remains above 5°C (41°F). To thrive, it requires a temperature of at least 12°C (54°F). Once established, these plants can tolerate drought, particularly during winter months. However, they will need regular watering during the summer months and should be watered deeply to ensure optimal growth. It's also recommended to remove any yellowish or brown leaves and cut back the flower once it has passed its blooming stage.
