microsorum musifolium crocodyllus
This Crocodile fern (also Alligator Fern) is called Microsorum musifolium crocodyllus as scientific name. It has elongated leaves with a sheen. The leaves have protrusions and bumps that give the plant a rougher appearance. Hence its name: the skin of crocodiles looks very much like this structure.

care tips
Ferns can be placed in a fairly dark position. From semi-shade to full shade. As long as daylight enters the room, it is fine for a Fern. Always keep the fern's soil slightly moist. This includes a sip of water once a week during winter and two times in summer. In addition, the Fern likes high humidity. It is therefore important that you regularly use a plant sprayer.
