orchid potting soil
This premium blend of Orchid potting soil of SYBASoil includes everything your orchids could need. Orchids are quite distinct from most houseplants; as many orchids are epiphytes (plants that do not grow in soil), they thrive in a substrate that offers plenty of aeration and space.
To achieve this, there’s a generous amount of orchid bark in the mix. The sphagnum moss aids in retaining humidity around the plant roots. Orchids also thrive in terrariums! It's the ideal all-purpose orchid mix and also suited for Bromeliad.

use and application
Using the mix is straightforward! Begin by removing as much of the old soil as you can. Gently squeeze the pot while tilting it to help loosen the plant. Rinse the roots under lukewarm tap water to wash away any remaining bits of soil.
Additionally, be sure to snip off any dead leaves that may still be attached to the plant using scissors. Your plant will now be ready for its new Orchid soil. Start by adding a thin layer of the substrate mix at the bottom of the pot.
Position the plant in the pot and gradually fill the sides with orchid potting soil. Ensure that the area where the roots connect to the plant is just below the surface of the soil mix.
Gently press the potting soil down into the pot. After repotting, it's essential to water the mix thoroughly, as this will help settle both the mix and the roots.
