This Lova Punctatum prefers a semi-shaded place at home and will not tolerate direct sunlight. The minimum temperature for this plant is 15°C.
The remaining volcanic lava rock absorbs the water from the container and so the water reaches the roots of the fern. Fill the container up to 2/3 and make sure that there is always a layer of water in it.
During the first two years it is not necessary to fertilise the plant, because the plant gets its nutrition from the stone itself. If the tap water in your municipality contains a lot of lime, the lava stone can turn white, so preferably give the plant rainwater or mineral water.
