red hibiscus
The flowering period of this red Hibuscus is long, so you can enjoy these plants for months. There are many species, but only Hibiscus syriacus can be planted outdoors. They are used as shrubs, in pots and also as hedges.
dimensions & properties
We selected this red Hibiscus plant at a nursery called 'Vivercid' in Spain (close to Valencia).
colour plant: green leaves and from May to October pink to red coloured flowers
care tips
Hibiscus can thrive in almost any garden soil. It is important that the soil is airy and permeable and that it contains humus. If you give it a somewhat warmer spot (e.g. near a warm wall), you can enjoy rich blooms.
