The Laurustine is a Viburnum tinus is an exterior plant native to the Mediterranean areas of Europe and Africa. The peculiarity of this shrubby plant is that it flowers in winter, with pink buds from which its flowers later emerge in the form of white or pink bunches, or both. Its leaves are fibrous, oval-shaped and pointed and bright green, very similar to laurel leaves. The fruits are small and plum-like, dark blue in colour, but toxic, and appear in summer.
