The Solanum Rantonetti (Paraguay Nightshade), is related to the potato and the tomato. The most common colour is blue-purple, but this version is with white flowers. It's a strong grower and a very rich bloomer and can easily reach 2 metres in height inside a pot.

We selected this white Solanum Rantonetti of 85cm high at a nursery called 'Eerbeek Plantcentrum' in the Netherlands (close to the city of Nijmegen).

care tips
You can prune the white flowering Solanum in both spring and autumn. Older plants are transplanted every 2-4 years into normal, well-drained soil. The roots can also be shortened. To keep the plant compact, it can also be pruned in summer. New flower heads will quickly will be formed again.
This solanum likes a place in full sun. In spring and summer you can fertilise for 14 days. Watering: In spring and summer it should be watered about 3-5 times a week, depending on the weather.
